Neighbour's wedding was quite simple. But the honk and the English romantic song broke through the quiet morning, and got everyone sneak curiously 'Who's getting marry?', probably with whisper inside 'No need to invite me so that I can save up the Ang Pau money for inflation'... like me. I do miss the way the older generation celebrated their most important event in life in Kampung (village) style, whereby almost everyone in the village were invited for a great meal and visiting the newly decorated room etc. There's a lots of people here was moved from Kampung Lapan previously, perhaps they have the same feeling too, watching the almost similar traditional Chinese custom being repeated again.
